Gareth Southgate has just announced his England squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers and as usual, there are a number of surprise selections.
The same can be said of out special FPL England XI team, which is currently performing on par with the real England squad. Underwhelmingly average with a handful of stand out performers.
So far our all-England FPL team has racked up an overall total of 265 FPL points after six gameweeks, and sits in mid-table of our mini-league, which includes a Chelsea Rejects XI, Man United Rejects XI, U23 XI and Over 30’s XI.
A GW6 return of 58 was a pretty run-of-the-mill haul but still lifted the team up 100k places to 3.5m in the overall rankings.
As you can see, we’ve got a few doubts heading in to gameweek 7, so we need to start considering a few changes in order to boost this all-England team’s chances of climbing the rankings.
With £1.6 in the bank and a wildcard still to play, there’s a plenty of room for manoeuvre, but what should we do?
Take a look at our England XI FPL video below and then let us know what you think we should be doing ahead of the GW7 deadline. We’ll pick one or two suggestions to go with and will feature them in next week’s show…
