Lallana started in the midfield with Jordan Henderson and James Milner, and the former is taking loads of stick for his sluggish performance.
Perhaps understandably given his extended absence from first team football, the England international just looked a step off the pace, picking up a yellow card in the first half for a late challenge.
The Reds just couldn’t get anything going through the midfield, and fans are crucifying Lallana for his role in the performance.
