Everton boss Ronald Koeman has revealed his delight at having both Seamus Coleman and Yannick Bolasie back in training for the Merseyside outfit.
Coleman has not represented the Toffees since breaking his leg while representing Republic of Ireland in their 2018 World Cup qualifier against Wales back in March.
Bolasie, meanwhile, has been on the sidelines since December 2016 after picking up a knee problem in the Premier League clash against Manchester United.
Both players have stepped up their recovery in recent weeks, with the duo present at Everton’s training ground over the last few days.
Koeman, however, has vowed not to rush the pair back to competitive action.
Koeman told EvertonTV:
“It is a big boost for both players. They really are working hard to come back as soon as possible. If you go out with the ball and are training, and are out on the grass and close to the team, it is really a boost and a big step forwards.
“Let’s hope they are back as soon as possible. But it is about making sure they come back as strong as possible – and healthy.
“That is the most important thing. It is not about coming back one week faster – it is all about being one hundred per cent.”
Everton currently sit down in 16th position in the Premier League table having only won two of their seven matches at the start of the 2017-18 campaign.
Indeed, the Toffees entered the recent international break off the back of a 1-0 home defeat to Burnley.
